What is Salesforce RLM?

Salesforce RLM is a package of Salesforce offerings for product-to-cash flow, including product catalogs, pricing, configuration, quoting, order management, fulfillment, billing, and contracts. Unlike Salesforce CPQ, RLM will automate the integration and data sharing between systems, including dynamic pricing, billing, and fulfillment. 

What will a transition from Salesforce CPQ to Salesforce RLM look like? 

Salesforce CPQ customers are not required to move over to RLM at this time, but Salesforce will continue to invest in the new tool and encourage CPQ users to make the switch. However, customers who have built their configuration rules, pricing, and product catalog in Salesforce CPQ will need to rebuild these assets in Salesforce RLM in order to accommodate the automated integrations.
