Glenroy® is a three-generation family-run business that excels in sustainable flexible packaging, offering custom laminations and innovative stand-up pouches for leading brands in various industries. 

The Challenge

Glenroy previously relied on product experts at the  company to build cost estimates for custom packaging in static spreadsheets. The inability to collaborate within the sheets and unilaterally update the information across the organization created inefficiencies in the sales organization and unnecessary lead times on maintenance. 

Once the cost estimates were created in the spreadsheet, sales people wasted valuable time manually transferring information from the spreadsheet to their instance of Salesforce and their ERP system to generate customer quotes and create manufacturing bill of materials. This time consuming process had to be replicated for every Glenroy order because prior order duplication was too difficult to execute. 

The Solution

Glenroy’s newly launched instance of Logik.io has dramatically changed the day to day efficiency of their sales organization. Sales people are able to easily configure and quote complex custom orders in Logik.io and generate quotes in salesforce and bills of materials in their ERP without duplicating the inputs. Complex orders, including a multitude of variant manufacturing costs and price breaks, are constructed with speed and accuracy through Logik.io.

The sales team is also anticipating incredible time savings attributed to the ability to duplicate previously configured orders. The automated single source of truth has also allowed Glenroy’s product experts to democratize their expertise across the business  to ensure that the intricacies of Glenroy’s process are not lost in the shuffle of spreadsheets.
